MARSHALLVILLE - Betty McLaughlin Morgan, 77, died Monday, March 1,2010.Services will be held at 3p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010,in the Chapel of Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley with the family greeting friends from 2 p.m. until service time. Born in Augusta, Maine to the late Austin and Victoria Severance McLaughlin, Mrs. Morgan was an antiques dealer and conducted shows all over the United States. A member of First Baptist Church of Perry, she was a former Worthy Matron of the Perry Chapter of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her children, Vikki and Jeremy Thompson, Tonya Morgan, Benjamin E. and Debbie Morgan and Tamara and John Alvarez, 8 grandchildren and several family members in Maine. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed. Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements.
