A Warner Robins teen was arrested by police Thursday in connection with a shooting that occurred late last month.
According to Tabitha Pugh, public information officer for the Warner Robins Police Department, a 16- year- old juvenile was charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt armed robbery, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm under 21, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm 1000 feet from a housing authority and criminal attempt murder.
The crime occurred Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. A police investigation revealed the victim, Dajohn Milton, 17, of Warner Robins, was sitting in a vehicle at the 100 block of Hudson Street.  The suspect approached the vehicle, brandished a handgun, and fired into the vehicle striking the victim in the upper body.  The suspect fled the scene on foot. ).  He was later transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia, where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition in Intensive Care.
Pugh said the juvenile was already in custody on an unrelated assault charge and witness evidence led authorities to his whereabouts.
The juvenile is being detained at a regional youth detention facility.  The case was forwarded to the Houston County District Attorney’s office and the Houston County Juvenile Court
