Lady Lake, FL: Israel “Ike” Garcia, 77, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday January 30, 2010 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mike Slade will officiate.
Mr. Garcia was born in Victoria, TX to the late Fernando and Carlota Ivara Garcia. He was retired from the US Air Force and civil service with over 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Samuel Garcia. He was a former resident of Bonaire before moving to Florida.
Survivors include his children; Dee Coleman of Warner Robins and Sandra (Greg) Campbell of Chester, VA. Siblings; Rev. Andre Garcia, Lydia Severe and Fred Garcia. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
